These instructions apply in the club office, hangar, camping area, preparation areas, runways and adjacent flying areas.

Everyone is responsible for protecting themselves and others and must immediately report any hazard, damage or unsafe conduct.

Activities involving aircraft, engines, the winch, fuel, batteries or tools may only be carried out by trained and authorised persons.

On your first visit, learn the active areas, safe walking routes, exits, first-aid kit and fire extinguisher locations.

Guests and children must remain with an escort and may not enter hangars, runways, preparation areas or engine-start areas on their own.

Anyone affected by alcohol, drugs, severe fatigue or medication that impairs reactions must not take part in flying activities or operate equipment.

Enter or cross a runway or active flying area only after coordination with the responsible person and after checking both directions.

Do not leave people, vehicles, models, cables, tools or other equipment on runways, approaches, taxi routes or emergency access routes.

Maintain a constant visual watch for air and ground traffic. Never rely solely on whether or not you heard a radio call.

Pets must be kept under continuous control and outside the operational area.

Treat every propeller or rotor as if the engine could start. Stay clear of the propeller plane, rotor area and direction of airflow.

An engine may only be started by a competent person, with the aircraft secured, the area clear and everyone nearby clearly warned.

Do not touch controls or move an aircraft without permission from its owner or the responsible person.

With an engine running, keep people, loose clothing, ropes, tools and unsecured objects away from propellers, rotors and air intakes.

Before launch, check the model, controls, power supply, fail-safe settings and that the selected area is suitable for the planned flight.

Keep spectators out of launch and landing areas. Only the pilot, helper and persons designated by the organiser may enter them.

The winch may only be operated by instructed persons. Never cross the cable route or approach a cable under tension.

When model aircraft and crewed aircraft operate at the same time, conduct a joint briefing and appoint a responsible person to coordinate activities.

Each pilot is responsible for the serviceability of their equipment, required qualifications, applicable documents and the safe decision to fly.

Before flight, check the aircraft and equipment, weather, airspace, AIP, NOTAMs and all applicable restrictions.

Do not begin a take-off or landing if people, vehicles, animals, equipment or another obstruction are present in the intended area.

Use radio frequency 119.225 MHz in accordance with airfield procedures and make brief, clear and timely calls.

Smoking, open flames and ignition sources are prohibited near fuel, charging batteries and aircraft.

Refuel only with the engine stopped and cooled, using suitable labelled containers. Secure and clean up spills immediately.

Charge LiPo and Li-ion batteries only with the correct charger, on a non-combustible surface and under continuous supervision.

Do not use or charge swollen, damaged, overheated or impacted batteries. Isolate them in a safe place and arrange proper disposal.

If there is smoke, an unusual smell or heating, disconnect power only if safe, move people away, avoid breathing the fumes and call 112.

Keep exits, fire extinguishers, electrical panels and emergency access routes clear at all times.

Use only serviceable electrical equipment, extension leads and tools. Disconnect power and put equipment away after use.

Cutting, grinding, welding or other spark-producing work requires prior approval, suitable personal protective equipment and fire precautions.

Do not perform a hazardous task alone if no one would be available to provide immediate help or raise the alarm.

Monitor not only current readings but also changes in wind, gusts, visibility, cloud and approaching hazardous weather.

Before flight, use current official sources and check AIP, NOTAMs, AUP/UUP and active temporary restrictions.

For mixed activities, hold a joint briefing and define zones, time windows, radio communication and a person responsible for coordination.

Stop the activity, warn those nearby and secure the area without exposing yourself to additional risk.

If necessary, call 112 and state: Uzundzhovo Airfield — LBHS, coordinates 41.9764° N, 25.5898° E, the nature of the incident and the number of casualties.

Do not move an injured person unless there is immediate danger. First aid should be provided by a trained person until medical help arrives.

Send someone to meet the emergency services and keep a clear route to the incident location.

Report every incident, equipment failure and serious safety occurrence to the Management Board and, where applicable, the competent authority.
